As we draw closer to summer, we get a chance to feature more new music from upcoming carnivals. This week's new batch includes music from Barbados, St. Vincent, St. Lucia and Antigua , plus we get our hands on the entire Palm Tree Riddim out of the UK . Calgary's Carifest officially announced that Skinny Fabulous would be here for this year's festival in June, so we made sure we got up to speed with his music in a Mega-Medley-Mix Download mp3

Bigger venue, 2 rooms and 3 DJs For Carifest 2013, CalgarySoca brought the vibe to a new space, and offerd patrons 2 ROOMS of music .  The J'ouvert GLOW experience at Vinyl Dance Lounge (213 10Ave SW, Calgary) on Friday June 7th 2013 featured the return of Toronto's DJ Soca Sweetness, alongside CalgarySoca's own Drew Atlas .  This was without question, our biggest fete to date with over 500 Soca and Reggae lovers in attendance. As a massive kick off to 'all things Caribbean' this summer, we are featured Reggae selection specialist, Gummi controlling Vinyl's 2nd room on the lower level J'ouvert GLOW was a WEAR ALL WHITE event and was the warm-up for CalgarySoca's first ever Old Mas Band that hit the streets for Carifest 2013!
