Its our 200th show broadcasting from CJSW studios. Just over 4 years ago we were given the opportunity to broadcast Soca weekly on Calgary radio via CJSW studios (and eventually online to the world). Here we go through a few of our favourite Soca tracks over the last 4yrs, revisit some of the highlights, and get into more of the new music being released for 2015. Enjoy! Alot has happened in the last month, (and there is alot already in the works for summer).  While we have been very active on our Facebook page, we admittedly have been behind on our posts here on the main page. Music by Drew Atlas, Gummi & Sherman Hype Time flies when you're 'feting'. This April marked 4 years since Calgary Soca started bringing Soca music and events to the masses. It so happened that Calgary's TriniVibeTV turned 1 in April as well! It didn't take much more than that for us to decide we needed a party to celebrate! A huge thank you to everyone who came out to the SOLD OUT event and helped celebrate with us.  There was Champagne, Rum and Appetizers along with the best Reggae and Soca music all evening. As we continue to warm-up for #RED -the anniversary fete, we received some new music for Antigua's upcoming Carnival. Drew drops them into the first half of the show as both he and DJ Majesti continue the vibes with more of the favourites from Trinidad Carnival 2015. Download mp3

Its Easter Weekend . The crew decided to dig in the crates this week so both Drew and Majesti raided their Fathers' record collections to deliver a mix of classic hits. Everything from Arrow to Zulu Lightning was on the table but of course only so much could actually get played during the hour. With so much still left over, this may become our new Easter tradition. Cold Sweat Fete Warm-Up mix by Drew Atlas and DJ Majesti We had a busy weekend.  Alberta-favorite, DJ Soca Sweetness was in Edmonton from Toronto to celebrate his birthday at the 8th annual Cold Sweat fete .   Drew was on the bill to play as well, so he delivered the warm-up mix in alongside DJ Majesti in Calgary, then immediately drove up to Alberta's capital to take in the epic event.
